About Us

​Cindy Stark has 45 years of experience in sewing and has provided custom sewing and embroidery services since 2003.

What began out of necessity turned into a love of the creative process that transforms fabric into unique garments and home décor.  Cindy was in her early twenties when she learned to sew and credits a good friend and mentor for helping her to cultivate a true appreciation of the art. Her father helped her to expand on that appreciation when he gave her an old embroidery machine.

Cindy quickly realized the artistic potential of embroidery and invested in a commercial machine knowing that six needles meant six colors and ample opportunities for beautiful embellishments!

Cindy finds great enjoyment in translating her client’s vision to fabric. After all these years, she is still deeply fulfilled by handing a 17 year old a perfectly fit prom dress that makes her look as elegant as she feels; by crafting an Asian inspired jacket that is an outward expression of a friends soul; by embroidering a motorcycle vest with enough machismo that the wearer trusts her to do more.Cindy is committed to ongoing education in her craft, to keep abreast of the latest trends and fabrics, as well as professional embroidery practices, because for her, it’s not about being a big company. It’s about doing what she loves and going the extra yard.
